NOT EXACTLY SURE WHAT IT IS?
Assuming you already know about EFT, this is simply doing EFT for someone other than yourself! You can do it in front of them - for example you are the passenger in a car and your partner has a sore neck but they can't tap on it themselves because they are the one driving. You can tap for them! Another example, your teenager is crying in their room because of a fight with a friend. They won't tap with you - but you want to ease their distress somehow. You can tap for them!
IT'S A SIMPLE PROCESS
Very, very simple. You think of (or write down) what you know of the person's symptoms, issue, circumstances, history and then you connect with them energetically.
This can be as simple as thinking about them or you can look at their photo, their name - anything that reminds you of them. If the person has not given you permission (IMPORTANT: don't surrogate tap for someone who has expressly told you not to), you next set the intention that what you are about to do is offered without strings attached, to be accepted or rejected at the level of that person's higher-self, spirit, soul - however you want to define it.
Finally, you begin the session with the first aspect you want to address, including in the setup statement their full name as they like to be known.
For example, Susan Jones says three times while tapping on the side of hand (SOH) point, "Even though I, John Michael Smith, have this sharp pain like a dagger in the back of my right shoulder when I lift my arm, I deeply and completely accept myself."
Then, reminder phrases:
TOH: "This sharp pain" EB: "This sharp pain" SE: "Like a dagger" UE: Back of my right shoulder" UN: "This sharp pain" CH: Like a dagger" UA: "Every time I lift my arm"
At the end of the round, check in with yourself. Do you feel you should do a repeat round of the same aspect? Move on to a different aspect? Regardless, for the next and all subsequent rounds, you need not add "John Michael Smith" to your setup statements. You have established that you are tapping for John in the first setup and that suffices.
When you want to finish the session, you close it by returning to tap on your SOH point and repeat three times "I am Susan Jones, I am Susan Jones, I am Susan Jones"
Take a deep breath - And that's it!
